The President of Rapid, Victor Angelescu, said that the representatives of the club are conducting several negotiations during this period and are “almost in agreement with a striker”.
Rapid are looking to bring the striker on loan with an option to buy.
“We are in several negotiations. I think we will manage to close the first negotiation in such a way that he goes to the training camp with the team. Next week, yes, we hope to close the first transfer, if not the second. We are quite close. The first transfer is not from the domestic championship, it is from outside. He stated that the staff no longer relies on striker Antoine Baroan (25 years old), who “must find a team”.

The club's representatives are also negotiating other transfers, Angelescu said.
