The life partner of President Nicușor Dan, Mirabela Grădinaru, stated, in an interview for Digi24, that the couple's life did not change much after the short one in May, but encountered a temporary restriction due to the new official position of the former general mayor of Bucharest.

Asked how she managed to keep the behavior she is used to right after Nicușor Dan became the head of state, Grădinaru emphasized that her life has not changed radically, keeping her manners.

“I know that in the first days, when I went to the office, my colleagues asked me, 'Are you still coming?' I say: Yes. I also received questions from the kindergarten: Does he continue to come to the same kindergarten (about his little boy, no)? Yes! And from school (about his daughter, no): Yes! The same school, the same kindergarten, the same workplace, the same friends, the weekend meetings in Carol Park, sitting on the grass or on the bench. It was more difficult with shopping in the first 2-3 weeks, but later I also obtained this right to go shopping, because Aheia (her and Nicușor Dan's daughter) likes to walk very much, not necessarily to buy, but also to go to the mall, at least half an hour to walk through a store, two”, said Grădinaru, quoted by the Digi24 television website.

Before Christmas, Mirabela Grădinaru, Nicușor Dan and the two children welcomed Santa Claus and carolers at the Cotroceni Palace.

The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, spent the Christmas holidays in the mountains, in Brașov county, where he also visited the village of Ileni, the place of origin of his grandparents, according to News.ro.

The head of state was captured in images published by the local community, while visiting the Museum of Ileni, accompanied by his daughter.
