“Something I've never experienced before!”

For the versatile defender of FC Argeș, used by Bogdan Andone in both lanes of the defense, the joy was multiple during the Holidays. Florin Borța and Erica, his long-term partner, they got married at the Civil Registry, the two finding out that they were going to become parents.

Borța spoke about these news, but also about future plans and the x-ray of a more than generous year, in an interview for GSP.ro, in which he also talked about the thrilling battle for the play-offs, which also includes the newly promoted FC Argeș.

Florin Borța got married and is expecting his first child: “A joy I have never experienced before”

– Florin, I saw on social networks that you were the protagonist of a special moment during the Holidays. What feelings try you?
– It was, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful moments of my life. This year's holidays came with a special emotional charge. I said “yes” with my wife, Erica, and the joy was completed by the big news: we found out that we will have a boy! The emotions were hard to put into words: gratitude, pure happiness and a deep sense of responsibility. I feel that a new chapter is beginning full of love, maturity and hope, and the thought that we will soon become parents fills our hearts with a joy that we have never experienced before!

– Any vacation plans? Although the period is short, the preparation period follows shortly….
– Erica and I have been in Dubai since last night, we are celebrating New Year's Eve here. Vacation is short, we all know that, and training camp is coming soon, that's right.

– With what thoughts do you start in 2026 with the team? It promises to be a truly hellish battle in the play-off race.
– I am leaving in 2026 with a lot of determination and confidence in myself, but especially in the team. We are aware that the fight in the play offs will be a hellish one, but that is what motivates us. We will work hard, we will be united and I am sure that in the end we will be happy.

– How was this year for you? You went from League 2 to an unexpected place in the first league, a remarkable leap.
– It was a very good year, with many successes and I have to keep it on this path, because I want to evolve better and better.

– It must be said that you also scored one of the most beautiful goals of this season in the match against CFR, you won your starting place, things are going well for you. Do you still practice such shots in training, do you have a vocation for this kind of execution? Let's not forget that you also scored like that in the Cup, also with CFR Cluj.
– Yes, it was a very nice goal and I'm glad that I could help the team to get the victory in that match. I can't necessarily say that I try in training… If I'm in the same position, I can say that I hit the goal, but as a defender you don't get to do that very often… I'm glad it worked out for me.

– Do you feel that it is your peak, that it is the most prolific moment of your career? You have also been to Craiova, and to Petrolul, it seems that now you have found your ideal environment to develop.
– I feel very good at FC Argeș. I feel appreciated and I think that also helps me a lot. I hope to keep it that way as long as possible, because God rewards your work every day and it shows in the matches.
