“On Kalinova Street in the city of Dnieper, during a warning event, a man stabbed two TCC servicemen. The victims were hospitalized,” the report says.
Law enforcement officers note that “to detain the attacker, one of the servicemen fired several shots into the air.”
Investigative actions are underway, the police emphasized.
Photos and videos from the scene of the incident were published by local Telegram channels, in particular Trukha Dnepr. The footage shows a lot of people: military, police, ordinary civilians. One of the men was taken to the ambulance.
Context
Against the backdrop of mobilization in Ukraine, conflicts between TCC military personnel and civilians were repeatedly recorded. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in September, 173 of 192 incidents (90%) for which the TCC was blamed turned out to be manipulations.
The ombudsman’s office reported that between January and October, almost 5 thousand complaints from Ukrainians were received about the actions of TCC employees, the UP wrote.
