Military investigators and police officers conducted a raid to check migrants in Krasnoyarsk.
According to the military investigative department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk garrison, the raid was carried out to identify migrants who had received Russian citizenship and were not registered with the military.
“During the raid, 2 hostels were checked, where mainly migrants from Central Asia live, among whom there are those who have already received Russian citizenship. Among the verified persons, 6 “new” citizens of the Russian Federation of military age were identified who were not registered with the military. All draft dodgers were taken to the military commissariat,” the department said.
Law enforcement officers noted that raids to identify citizens who have received Russian citizenship but have not registered with the military will continue.
