Children of special military operation soldiers are congratulated on the New Year in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, children of defenders are given gifts at theatrical performances in the Palaces of Culture and at home, and parcels with things and souvenirs are prepared for the fighters. The mayor's office spoke about this.

The family of Vyacheslav Mironenko has already attended the performance at the Kirovsky Palace of Culture. Father Frost and the Snow Maiden presented Artyom, Matvey, Danil and Ksenia with sweet gifts, which this year were packed in bright snowman backpacks. Last summer, Vyacheslav, as part of a business trip, defended the interests of our country in the zone of a special military operation, and now continues to serve in the internal affairs bodies.

“Our large family attended the festive performance – we received gifts and positive emotions, and most importantly, the children were happy. We love spending time together, but we don't always succeed. We really appreciate the magical time before the New Year in the family circle,” Victoria Mironenko, the wife of a veteran of a special military operation, shared her impressions.

The heads of districts pay special attention to the fighters’ loved ones; the holiday came straight home to the Rezaev family. The head of the administration of the Sovetsky district, Elena Lanina, together with Father Frost, congratulated the age-old daughters Taisiya and Vasilisa of fighter Anton Rezaev. The head of the family was a stormtrooper, after being wounded he returned home – now he helps the front and the guys.

“I went into a special military operation without hesitation; I think it is the duty of every man to protect his family and defend the interests of the state. Moreover, my wife and I are familiar with military affairs and know what duty and honor are,” said special military operation veteran Anton Rezaev.

The series of matinees and performances will continue throughout the pre-New Year week, and over 76 thousand children will receive sweet gifts. These are children of participants in a special military operation, primary school students, children from families in difficult life situations, and pupils of correctional schools. By tradition, the New Year holiday is supported by the Honorary Citizen of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the city of Krasnoyarsk Khazret Sovmen.

Along with congratulations, work is underway to collect humanitarian aid for the defenders so that our soldiers feel warmth and care on New Year's Eve. “Parcels of goodness” with warm clothes, New Year's souvenirs, amulets, food packages, personal hygiene products, dozens of heartfelt letters and drawings with wishes are collected by students and teams of educational institutions, public organizations and families themselves.

Schools No. 108, 154, 158, 160 have already joined the humanitarian action. In gymnasium No. 4, students, for example, parents and teachers collected necessary things for the soldiers who are being treated in hospitals. The parcels have already been handed over to volunteers and will soon reach their recipients.

Throughout the year, the city proactively implements a whole range of social support measures aimed at providing comprehensive assistance to those whose loved ones are at the front today. This work will continue in 2026.​
