Make such cuts and new branches will appear on the tree. Secret trick for a bountiful harvest

On December 16, the authors of the Ukrainian Instagram blog about gardening and field work plodovi.dereva explained why experienced gardeners carry out coring of fruit trees and vineyards in early spring.

Kerbovka is an agrotechnical technique that helps to “wake up” the plant, form a beautiful crown and stimulate the appearance of new branches on it. And this, in turn, will contribute to a generous harvest of berries and fruits.

How to make a kerbovka

  1. Make a small cut in the bark above the bud. This will disrupt the movement of nutrients and the kidney will begin to actively grow. The cut should be very neat and shallow so as not to harm the plant.
  2. The procedure is carried out using a special saw for cutting the bark.
  3. After completing the procedure, the cut sites must be treated with a fungicide to prevent infection.
