Prices of petrol, diesel, autogas. A Christmas “gift” for drivers?


After wholesale prices dropped, gas station operators introduced adjustments to their price lists. Currently, a liter of 95 petrol costs on average PLN 5.79, which means a decrease of 8 groszy compared to the beginning of December. The price of diesel oil has decreased by 6 cents and is currently PLN 6.17 per liter. At the same time, the average price of LPG increased by PLN 2 to PLN 2.64 per liter.

In the week from December 15 to 21, 2025, price drops are expected on the fuel retail market. Here are the forecasts for petrol, diesel and autogas:
- Pb98 gasoline – PLN 6.51–6.63 per liter;
- Pb95 gasoline – PLN 5.71–5.83 per liter;
- diesel – PLN 6.09–6.21 per liter.
- autogas – PLN 2.60 and PLN 2.67 per liter.
Fuel prices. Where is the cheapest?
According to experts' data, the cheapest 95 gasoline can be found in Greater Poland, where a liter costs PLN 5.70. The lowest diesel price – PLN 6.01 per liter – is valid in the Lubusz Voivodeship. In turn, the cheapest way to refuel LPG is in Upper Silesia, paying PLN 2.58 per liter.
The highest gasoline prices are recorded in Mazovia and the Kujawy and Pomerania region – there the average price per liter is PLN 5.91. In the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship you also have to pay the most for diesel oil (PLN 6.24 per liter), and in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship for a liter of autogas – PLN 2.74.
Crude oil at its cheapest level since 2021
The price of crude oil on the US stock exchange dropped below $55. per barrel, reach their lowest level since the beginning of 2021 – reminds CNBC.
The decline is the result of a projected market surplus and reports of a potential peace agreement in Ukraine.
The price of crude oil continues to decline in 2025. The exception was the mid-year spike. December saw a strong depreciation and a decline to levels we haven't seen in years.
