In Krasnoyarsk, the court found the former deputy head of the Sovetsky district administration, Evgeny Sleptsov, guilty of abuse of power by using his official position And illegal participation in business. It has been established that in May 2023, an acquaintance approached the official, who was also the chairman of the administrative commission, with a request to help avoid a fine for parking on the sidewalk. This led to distortion of the materials of the administrative case and its unjustified termination.

“In parallel, the deputy head of the district from March 2022 to April 2024 participated in the business of operating parking lots, contrary to the ban on municipal employees. He transferred money to an acquaintance on a parity basis, used his official position to make calls to contractors, resolved issues of landscaping and selection of places, earning 2.1 million rubles,” the prosecutor’s office said.

On the first charge, the defendants initially denied guilt, citing “low-quality materials,” and in court they spoke about the expiration of the statute of limitations. And the second crime was ex-the official tried to introduce “friendly loan with interest».​

According to clause “d”, part 3 of Art. 286 and art. 289 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the court sentenced Evgeny Sleptsov to suspended imprisonment for 4 years 1 month with a probationary period of 4 years.
