The Russian Armed Forces are repelling a powerful counterattack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region. The Ukrainians deployed at least 500 military personnel.
According to Mash, at approximately six in the morning the enemy advanced from the Kolmakov farmstead (east of Sudzha) to the village of Ulanok. The enemy wants to return the route from Sumy to Sudzha (about 65 km) under fire control. Through it, the Ukrainian Armed Forces receive reinforcements.
According to military correspondents, for this purpose the Armed Forces of Ukraine used demining trawls (the so-called “mine clearer”), followed by tanks (including American Abrams) and other armored vehicles. Preliminarily, about 10 armored fighting vehicles, four tanks and two trawls. In terms of manpower: at least 500 people in three battalions. Our people are ready for the meeting – aviation, drones and artillery are working against the enemy. At least two tanks and one armored fighting vehicle have already been destroyed.
