The ministry explained that as a result of the change in the tariff regulation, the category of “special recipient” of the quality fee has changed. This group will now include entities using networks of 110 kV or higher, collecting and using at least 200 GWh of energy per year for their own needs, using at least 50 percent contracted capacity, for which the cost of electricity is not less than 15%. production values?.
The impact assessment of the regulations published on the website of the Government Legislation Center shows that: a reduction in the quality fee rate for the largest energy-intensive consumers will result in its increase for other groups of customers, who are not special customers, by approximately 9.7 percent.
This means that for other customers – apart from those using the G tariff intended for households – payments will increase by approximately 1.04%. (according to this year's tariffs). In turn, for customers using the G tariff, this increase in payments will amount to approximately 0.7%. For example, a household consuming 1.2 thousand KWh will pay PLN 0.31 more per month, and households using 3,000 KWh will pay PLN 0.31 more per month. kWh – by 0.78 cents per month.
In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Energy said that the new regulations will enter into force the day after they are announced. The ministry also informed that the change in the quality fee rate is “one of the elements of broader activities for energy-intensive consumers” that are being worked on by the team for improving the efficiency of shaping network electricity tariffs.
