A woman sold children in China for years: the court sentenced her to death
The first was her illegitimate child. A Chinese woman gave birth to a baby from her lover in 1992 while her husband was in prison. After that, she began stealing and selling other people's children.
In 2004, Yu Huaying was arrested, but she managed to impersonate another person, and the court sentenced her to only eight years in prison. After her release, the woman continued her criminal activities.
In 2022, one of the kidnapped girls confronted the Chinese woman in court, and Huaying was imprisoned again. In 2023, the People's Court found that the accused kidnapped 11 children between 1993 and 1996.
In October of this year, Yu Huain's case was reviewed, and the number of abducted children increased to 17. The woman did not admit her guilt and did not repent.
She was sentenced to death, lifelong deprivation of political rights and confiscation of all personal property.
