She noted that the program is aimed at early detection of diseases such as type II diabetes, mental health problems and cardiovascular diseases.
The Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that it is these diseases that most affect the length and quality of life of Ukrainians.
“The program will start working on January 1, 2026. Every Ukrainian and Ukrainian woman over the age of 40 will receive a personal invitation to “Diya” on the 30th day after their birthday. After accepting the invitation, 2 thousand UAH will be credited to the “Diya.Card”, which can be used exclusively for health screening,” Sviridenko wrote.
She said that there would be an alternative way to “Dii” – through banks and Administrative Services Centers (ASSC).
According to Sviridenko, UAH 10 billion has been allocated for the 40+ Health Screening program in the 2026 state budget.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine explained that the list of medical institutions where health can be checked will be published later; Ukrainians will be able to choose it themselves from the list of state, municipal and private institutions.
“Health Screening 40+” includes a questionnaire and assessment of individual risks (including cardiovascular disease, risk of type II diabetes and mental health status), physical examination and laboratory tests showing the functioning of the heart, blood vessels and kidneys. After passing the screening, the person will receive personalized lifestyle and health recommendations. The doctor can also immediately prescribe certain medications if necessary,” the release says.
