Alin Roman (31 years old), the attacking midfielder from UTA, scored the decisive goal with Petrolul, score 1-0in stage #19 of the Superliga.
Roman managed to score in the last phase, then started the party in the Aradenian camp, who wildly celebrated, in the fog, the victory that took them to the play-off spot.

In extra time of the match in Arad, UTA received a free kick from outside the box. Alin Roman, the specialist of fixed phases in Adrian Mihalcea's team, took the ball and placed it for the shot.
The attacking midfielder sent in from about 25 yards out and beat Krell, who got a hold of the ball but couldn't clear it. Those from UTA then started the celebration. Alin Roman entered the field in the 62nd minute, instead of Luca Mihai.
For Roman, it was match number 19 in this Superliga season. The attacking midfielder scored his 5th goal in Ligue 1 this season. The 31-year-old player has been at UTA since the summer, when he was released from his contract after parting with Poli Iași.
After the victory with Petrolul, UTA climbed to the 6th place, in the play-off, with 28 points. Arădeni beat Oțelul, U Cluj, Farul and FCSB.
