Ana Ciceală, the first reaction after the exit poll: “The polls were used to manipulate”

Ana-Maria Ciceală, the SENS candidate in Sunday's partial local elections, says that she is satisfied that the messages of her campaign have reached the people of Bucharest, even if the exit poll results place her in 5th place, with 6% of the votes.

Immediately after the publication of the exit poll results, Ana-Maria Ciceală declared that the voters understood the direction she proposed, despite the pressures and the polls used in the campaign. “Thank you to everyone who gave a chance to a new project, in a political world that remained frozen in the ideas of another century”, said the SENS candidate.

She emphasized that one of the important stakes of her candidacy was to bring into the public debate some issues that “Bucharest, as well as other cities in Romania, have been avoiding them for many years“.

Criticism of campaign polls

Ciceăla stated that the issues raised in the campaign were nevertheless noticed by the polling institutes, “even if they were used to manipulateIn her opinion, the interest of the people of Bucharest in the proposed themes is a confirmation that the SENS project has been heard.

Finally, the candidate thanked the volunteers and all those who voted in these partial local elections.

The exit poll results carried out by CURS and Avangarde show that Ciprian Ciucu is in first place with 32.7%, followed by Daniel Băluță with 26.3% and Anca Alexandrescu with 20.2%. Cătălin Drula gets 12.8%, and Ana Ciceăla gets 6%.

According to the INSCOP Research opinion poll, the votes of the people of Bucharest for the position of General Mayor of the Capital are distributed as follows: Ciprian Ciucu (PNL) 31.7%, followed by Daniel Băluță (PSD) with 26.1% of the options, Anca Alexandrescu (independent supported by AUR and PNȚCD) 21.1%, Cătălin Drula (USR) 12.8% and Ana Ciceală (SENS) 7% Other candidates registered in the race accumulated 1.3% of the votes.
