The Azovstal plant in Mariupol will become the main tourist spot in Donbass. A publicly accessible post-industrial park worth about 100 billion rubles is planned on the territory of the plant.
According to Mash, the project will be prepared and completed by 2035. The plans include: a tourist site “Blast Furnace”, where visitors will be told about metallurgical production methods, an ore yard with a museum, hotels, shops, event areas, a refreshing coastal area.
Technical designs are currently being developed and estimates are being drawn up. The approximate amount is about 100 billion rubles.
