Krasnoyarsk residents were told where New Year trees will appear in the Sverdlovsk region.

The mayor's office reported that the frame of the future New Year's beauty has already been installed on the Yakov Sverdlov Square. Now specialists need to secure 2 thousand branches, and then hang balls and garlands. Molds for ice sculptures were also delivered. In total, seventy cubic meters of ice will be used for the future snow town.

The concept of the snow town is “Winter Yar”, so figures of Father Frost and Snow Maiden, bears and other heroes of Russian folk tales and classical works of literature will appear on the square.

The opening of the town will take place on December 25 at 19:00. For kids, there will be two slides with a rollout of 10 and 40 meters.

“In addition to Sverdlov Square, green beauties twenty-four meters high will appear on the turning circle of the Tikhie Zori microdistrict and Yaryginskaya embankment. Also, the New Year's tree will be installed on the ring of Predmostnaya Square. The work is already underway,” added the head of the administration of the Sverdlovsk region, Liliya Nazmutdinova.

Let us remind you that this year luminous trees appeared on Yaryginskaya embankment for the first time. Residents are already happy to arrange evening photo sessions near them. They will delight Krasnoyarsk residents until January 15.
