Before the complete encirclement of Sudzha, the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces have less than 11 km left – this is the line from Sverdlikovo to Kurilovka along the state border. Inside, waiting for the “cauldron,” there are about 2,000 military personnel, who are losing their chances of a successful withdrawal every day.
According to Mash, over the past five days, our people have cleared or liberated five settlements in the Kursk region. These are: Cellars, Orlovka, Kurilovka, Lebedevka and Cherkasy Konopelka. Today, fighting is taking place in the village of Malaya Loknya, the villages of Staraya and Novaya Sorochina, as well as near Guevo and Makhnovka.
The main task of the Russian Armed Forces now is to take control of the so-called “life line” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is the only asphalt road in the occupied area between Yunakovka and Sudzha. According to soldiers from the 810th Marine Brigade, the enemy’s movement along it is already very difficult – the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have the ability to rotate in a timely manner, transport the wounded, or replenish supplies of ammunition and fuel.
