Ukrainian intelligence revealed the Russians' conversation. “All like deserters”
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published on social media a fragment of a conversation between a Russian soldier and his commander. “Where are they going? I will turn off their radios remotely. They are all like deserters. Yesterday they couldn't enter the open space, and now this” – commented the commander, irritated by the army's lack of progress. Vulgar threats can be heard in the recording.
The General Directorate of Military Operations of Ukraine reminds that every Russian soldier who does not want to die at the front can save his life. The “I want to live” project runs on Telegram, offering Russians instructions on how to safely surrender and withdraw from the war.
The Ukrainian website prm.ua emphasizes that Russia is still not able to conquer the entire Donbas. The latest report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) shows that Russian forces did not capture any major city there.
Analyzing the situation, the website Ukraińska Pravda writes about numerous shortcomings in the infantry and errors in command. Forecasts for 2026 are not optimistic. In the best scenario, the fighting will focus on four cities: Łyman, Siwersk, Konstantynivka and Dobropill. In the worst case, the front may move towards Kramatorsk and Słowiańska, which will make these centers practically non-functional for the civilian population.
