Haiti, which will play the second World Cup in its history next summer in the United States, Mexico and Canada, will not be able to be supported by its supporters on American territory, writes News.ro. The Trump administration has confirmed that fans from Haiti will not be allowed to enter the country.

In June, US President Donald Trump approved a law that prohibits citizens from 19 countries from entering the US. But among them – after Iran, already qualified in the Asian area, there is a second country that this week validated its ticket for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada (June 11-July 19). It is about Haiti, which will participate in its second World Cup after the one in 1974 in the FRG.

The Trump administration confirmed to Politico that, as with the Iranians, only Haitian players, their families and team entourage (personnel, logistics) will be allowed to remain in the United States under the major sporting event exception.

Thus, just like the Iranian supporters, the fans from Haiti will not be able to support their team (Grenadiers) on American territory.
