Fraudsters stole more than 600 million rubles from residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Since the beginning of 2025, 2,728 people became victims of cybercriminals in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the damage caused amounted to 666.1 million rubles. This was told in the prosecutor's office.
According to the supervisory authority, the percentage of disclosure of these crimes in the region is 25.6 % (561 crime has been disclosed). 100 criminal cases of crimes in the field of mobile fraud were sent to the courts.
The prosecutors of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, standing up for the defense of the victims of cybercriminals, were said by 140 claims, 136 of which in the amount of 56.7 million rubles on the recovery of the amount of unjust enrichment from dropper, as well as:
- 2 in the amount of 2 million rubles. on the recognition of loan agreements invalid,
- 2 On contesting transactions of contracts for the sale of housing.
92 claims were satisfied in the amount of 23.6 million rubles, including 1 on the declaration of 4 loan agreements invalid. In the framework of the provision of legal assistance to citizens, 12 draft claims and the recovery of unjust enrichment from dropper were awarded.
Over the past week alone, more than 27 million rubles were stolen from 107 residents of the region in a remote way:
- In 17 cases, citizens became victims of fake cryptocurrencies;
- 19 people were influenced by the fake special services and organizations that saved the “prosperity”;
- 12 inhabitants of the region became victims of phishing links to online stores;
- 43 users of social networks trusted from reports from friends and acquaintances who asked to lend money;
- In 53 cases, the victims on the Internet fell on the tricks of unidentified persons by deception;
- For each case, criminal cases are initiated and investigated.
Law enforcement officers ask residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to be vigilant and not succumb to the tricks of cybercriminals. Do not report your personal data in telephone, and through various messengers. And also not to take into account the words of strangers, even if the reverse phone number coincides with the hot line of a bank. Remember that modern technologies can allow attackers to replace the number.
