Romania loses the chance to have maximum points after the draw with Finland in the EURO U19 preliminaries

Romania U19, the national team trained by coach Adrian Dulcea (46 years old), missed the opportunity to get maximum points before the last match of Group 7, after the draw with Finland, score 1-1, at the “Anghel Iordănescu” stadium in Voluntari.
The “little tricolors” led at the break, but were equalized in the last quarter of an hour.
Florin Gașpăr, player on loan from Craiova University to CSM Reșita, opened the scoring in the 21st minute.
Finland forced in the second half and restored parity in the 74th minute through Vikstrom, setting the final score: 1-1.
How Romania U19 showed in the duel with Finland
The starting formula chosen by Adrian Dulcea was in a 4-3-3 system:

Ungureanu – Gașpăr (77' Techereș), Racu, Fotin, Senciuc – Tomșa (77' Necșulescu), Vereș, Pîrvu (77' Toroc) – Petculescu, Stoian (60' Stanciu), Toma (66' Bodo)
FCSB was the best represented club, with three players (Toma, Stoian, Necșulescu), followed by Sepsi OSK with two (Ungureanu and Techereș).
Romania remains the leader in Group 7
Even after this draw, Romania remains in first place thanks to the superior goal difference, considering the categorical victory in the first leg, 4-1 against Andorra.
In the other group match, Iceland beat Andorra 3-0.
Group standings: 1. ROMANIA 4p (5-2), 2. Finland 4p (4-3), 3. Iceland 3p (5-3), 4. Andorra 0p (1-7)
The top two teams from the group will qualify for Round 2 of the qualifiers, the final step before the European Championships in Wales.
Romania U19 did a good job at the European hosted by us
In the summer of this year, the U19 generation, then led by Ion Marin (70 years old), impressed at EURO 2025, a competition hosted in Romania, reaching the semifinals (1-3 with the Netherlands, on Giulesti).
