“Emotions for me no, more for mine, for my father, who is, you know, an ardent fan, my number one fan and for him it was something… it was a pride to return after so long to the national team, it was something extraordinary”Ionuț Radu began the interview for FRF.tv, before the match with Bosnia.
Ionuț Radu, extremely motivated before the match with Bosnia
“I'm very happy to be here. Going back in time and thinking about where I was 11 months ago and where I am now, I can say that life changes very quickly.
I feel great at Celta Vigo. It was very important to play, to have consistency, because it is very important for a goalkeeper to find peace and consistency. I'm glad I was able to do that.
I was close to a serious finger injury, but thank God it was fine, it wasn't as serious as I thought after the Levante match. I'm glad to be here and I hope to continue training.
I can't give my opinion on the chances of qualifying from first place in the group, because a lot can happen in football. That would be incredible. In your head you can make all kinds of scenarios and you always put the good first, but we have to do our job first of all in the match against Bosnia and then we see the results of the other matches.
Nothing is impossible and it would be extraordinary. The fans must continue to believe in us, because we still have a chance to go to the World Cup from the group, and if we do not go from the group, I am one hundred percent convinced that we will go from the play-off”, Ionuț Radu said.
