Ana Ciceală announced her intention to run for the Capital City Hall elections in July. He has the support of two parties behind him, but both at the beginning of the road, even with an electoral failure in the last elections.
His candidacy is supported by the SENS Party (Party for “Health, Education, Nature, Sustainability) and USR.PDF (Union for State Reform). SENS ran for parliamentary elections last year, but failed to pass the 5% threshold to enter Parliament.
Connections with the political world
According to his Linkedin page, he was a project manager at the Save Bucharest Association (2015-2016) and general councilor of the Municipality of Bucharest (2016 – 2024).
Ciceăla is one of the four candidates close to the current president Nicușor Dan. Today she is known for the USR lawsuit against the former mayor Gabriela Firea regarding the companies established by her.
Training and experience
Ana Ciceală has a bachelor's degree in Political and Moral Philosophy, obtained at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Bucharest.
From 2013 to 2014 he was a project manager at Accenture. Between 2007-2013 he worked as a Transaction Manager, and from 2006 to 2007 he worked in HR at Phillip Morris.

According to the 2024 wealth declaration, he has a 50 square meter apartment bought in 2011, in Bucharest. In the document, baptismal gifts in the amount of 1100 and 5000 euros were also mentioned.
The general counsel allowance brought him 16,400 lei and he also earned 470 lei from a copyright contract. Income from a rental in the amount of 17,799 lei also passed.
Chances in the race for the Capital City Hall
In recent months, Ana Ciceală found herself in the last places in the polls for Bucharest City Hall, with little chance. In an Avangarde survey (house supported by sociologist Marius Pieleanu), it is ranked 7th, with 3%.
