A Russian woman burned 7 family members alive and received 13 years in a general regime colony.
The tragedy occurred in the village of Saitovo in Tatarstan. The investigation proved that while everyone was sleeping, Ilmira Gardanova spilled flammable liquid in the house and set it on fire. Her four children, husband, brother and mother died in the fire.
A psychological and psychiatric examination showed that Gardanova was sane and was not in a state of passion. The jury found that the killer committed the crime because of a conflict with her mother and constant quarrels in the family.
