In the village of Abalakovo, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a fire occurred on an area of 200 square meters due to a short circuit, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region reported.
A garage, a bathhouse, a barn, a flock and a car burned down in the fire. A neighbor's outbuilding was also partially damaged.
“Thanks to their efficiency, federal and regional firefighters managed to defend residential buildings. No one was hurt. The fire was extinguished in two and a half hours by 16 people and 6 pieces of equipment,” the department said.
Emergency Situations Ministry specialists reminded that it is necessary to purchase a fire extinguisher, monitor the condition of the electrical wiring, and trust its installation and maintenance only to professionals. In addition, if the plug or socket gets hot, the device must be turned off, and a fire detector must be installed to prevent fires.
