163 people were poisoned by expired sour cream and chicken in a Russian school
Adults and children were poisoned at school No. 4 in Novocheboksarsk. Expired sour cream and chicken were confiscated, the media noted.
They tried to take out expired food from the school cafeteria through the back door when the deputy prosecutor arrived to check.
According to media reports, on the day of the poisoning, the children ate pilaf and fish soup. The chicken carcass that was served to children in the school cafeteria had an expiration date of October 24, 2024.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under an article on violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules. The number of victims may increase.
