In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a construction company was ordered to return more than 300 thousand rubles to a pensioner for uncompleted work on finishing a house.
Rospotrebnadzor said that the pensioner agreed with the construction company PRODOM to finish the house from timber for 580 thousand rubles. Most of the amount — 400 thousand — she gave it as an advance payment. But the company did not start work even after a month. The pensioner asked to postpone the deadline, but even then nothing changed.
She filed a complaint with the company, demanding a refund, but was ignored. Then the pensioner decided to seek help.
Rospotrebnadzor specialists filed a lawsuit against the company on behalf of the pensioner. The court ordered the company to return 400 thousand rubles.
In addition, another 307 thousand rubles were collected from the company: 150 thousand in the form of a penalty, 92 thousand percent for the use of money, 5 thousand for moral damage and 60 thousand fine.
