Seibt promotes the anti-immigration, far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which the German authorities describe as an “extremist” formation. The young influencer and activist claims that she applied for asylum in the US because she is persecuted for her political views, has become an “object of intelligence surveillance” and the target of “slanderous” attacks by state media.

The activist also claims that she receives “death threats from antifa.” She shared a letter from the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, the German internal intelligence service, in which she was informed that her activities were being monitored, the daily reports.

“At that moment I thought that I couldn't go back to Germany and be safe,” Seibt, who is currently in Washington, said in an interview with “WP”.

The daily points out that asylum is usually granted to people fleeing war or repression by brutal regimes, and the application for protection submitted by a citizen of a wealthy European country proves how quickly close ties are being created between the German far right and prominent representatives of the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement created by Trump.

Naomi Seibt is in constant contact with Elon Musk and it was she who helped arrange a live broadcast between the billionaire and AfD co-chair Alice Weidel before the February elections in Germany.

Republican congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna issued a statement in which she declared that she was “personally helping” the German woman obtain asylum in the US.

The Seibt YouTube channel has 112,000 subscribers. people, and on the X platform she is followed by 459 thousand. people.

In 2020, the young activist announced that there was no future for her in Germany because “it was getting too dangerous.” All because she promoted the thesis that global warming is an unproven concept, which – as she claimed – brought her threats on the Internet and silent phone calls.

Already then, Seibt announced her intention to move to the US and also warned of a “socialist dictatorship” in her country. (PAP)
