Mihai Bordeianu, the 33-year-old midfielder from FC Botoșani, analyzed the causes of the failure in the match with Farul Constanța, score 0-2.
However, the Moldovans remain, for the moment, on the first position of the ranking, tied with Rapid, both with 32 points, but with one goal scored more than the ones from Giulești.
After the match, Mihai Bordeianu, the Moldovan midfielder, analyzed the defeat, but also the elimination of teammate Friday Adams.
Bordeianu spoke about the match in Ovidiu: “It was a difficult trip, but we must not make a defeat out of the end of the country”
“It was a very difficult trip, even if we started very well, on the occasion of Bodișteanu. Football is unfair sometimes, we missed and they scored in the next phase.
what to do We are preparing, there will be a break in which we will analyze what went wrong, and I am sure that in the next match we will show a good attitude and be stronger.”
About the elimination of Adams Friday, Bordeianu said:
“I don't have much to comment on. Yes, the elimination was important, it's hard to play ten against eleven, but that's life. I hope they learn something from it. We don't have to make a fuss about losing. It can be a cold shower to strengthen us.”
The midfielder believes that it will not be easy to lose ground “at home”: “People are more attentive to us…Whoever comes to Botoșani must prepare well”
“I'm not worried about the result. And at Petrolul (0-0) we had a good match, we had consistency in the game.
That's how I felt about my colleagues today, even if we were a bit naive in places, but we have the courage to admit that we lost. From the next stage we must go on a straight path.”
Bordeianu believes that the good form of the team also attracts another attitude from the opponents:
“Everyone will play differently against us. It means that we are doing something good in Botoșani, and people are paying more attention to us. It's a good thing, it helps us grow.
For us, all matches are strong. Next up are Dinamo, Rapid, CFR, all at home. I think that on home soil we are a tough nut.
Whoever comes to Botoșani must prepare well, because it is not easy to play here“, declared Mihai Bordeianu.
The lighthouse returns to the fight for the play-offs
Victoria climbs Farul Constanța into the play-off spot, with three points over Oțelul Galați, while FC Botoșani remains the leader of the Superliga, but even a draw by Rapid can drop it to second position.
