More than half of all Airbus aircraft have been grounded in Russia — “Kommersant”
The airlines have suspended flights on 34 Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft, which is half the fleet of these aircraft in the country.
The reason for this decision was difficulties with servicing American engines and a general shortage of spare parts on the international market.
The publication's sources admit that up to half of the idle aircraft may not return to flight.
