They were informed that the border guards were operating in the area of responsibility of the 3rd Army Corps.
“As a result of the battle, 13 invaders were eliminated. In addition, aerial reconnaissance forces, using heavy bomber drones, hit five more invaders and wounded six,” the statement said.
Russian and Belarusian passports were found on the liquidated occupiers, the State Border Guard Service added.
“The operation was carried out in cooperation with units of the 3rd Army Corps and the Artan special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,” the statement says.
The State Border Guard Service published a video of the clash.
