Knife attack on a British train. New information


The police received information about the attack at 19.39 local time (20.39 in Poland). Officers went to Huntingdon station, where they arrested two people suspected of carrying out the attack. The BBC website quotes eyewitness accounts of the event. They talked about bleeding people running on the platform, and some passengers also experienced panic attacks.

On the night from Saturday to Sunday, the police provided more information about the attack. “Ten people were taken to hospital, nine of whom have life-threatening wounds. There is no information about any victims so far,” we read in the statement.
