Three researchers who ventured in the area of Focul Vi, from Buzău county, were rescued by the mountain gendarmes after they were lost and were left without signal.

On Wednesday morning, around 10:00, a man from Covasna County called 112 to announce the disappearance of three researchers left the day before to the living Fire area. They didn't answer the phone anymore.
A crew of mountain gendarmes from Nehoiu was sent immediately on the route Gura Teghii – Tainița – Plaiul Nucului – Terca. Meanwhile, the police have been mobilized to find the researchers' car, according to news.ro.
After almost 10 hours of searches, around 2:00 pm, the gendarmes managed to get in touch with the researchers. They were on a forest road, where they had been helped by a forest. Their car was stuck in the mud, but was unlocked by the rescue team.
The gendarmes accompanied the researchers to the main road and sent an appeal to all those who explore isolated areas. They recommend checking the weather condition before you leave, equipped properly and make sure you have functional means of communication.
