Before the mandate at the youth national team, Pancu coached only two other teams: Rapid between 2018 and 2020, before the Giulești team returned to the first league, respectively Poli Iași in the second half of 2020.
Basically, Pancu's experience at the elite level is limited: 19 matches, of which 4 wins, 3 draws and 12 defeats.
