Outstanding performances in Romanian sports are transformed into murals on the blocks of Bucharest. David Popovici was the first athlete to “receive” such a gift.

Now, more than a year after the European Championship in Germany, where the national team finished the group in first place, Nicolae Stanciu and Radu Drăgușin become the characters of a new mural drawing.

Romania's Euro heroes will have a mural in Bucharest

The artists started work a few days ago and are painting with automatic fire, so that the artwork will be ready in two to three weeks. Romania's Euro heroes will come to life on the facade of a block of flats in Bucharest, on Mihai Bravu Street.

Stanciu is represented with the unique joy of the leader of the national team, in the fabulous victory, 3-0, with Ukraine, after “Nico” managed a real gem of a goal, which opened the scoring at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Nadia Comăneci has a mural in Onești

Today was the official launch of the first mural in Onești, dedicated to Nadia Comăneca. The work, signed by Bogdan Scutaru, was created through ZIDART – Street Art Festival and pays tribute to Nadia Comăneci.

“This artistic intervention aims to become a landmark of the city, a vector of excellence and hope, intended to inspire generations of athletes, children and creators who believe in the power of discipline and dreams. The mural marks the beginning of a new dialogue between the community, culture and public space, opening perspectives for the tourism, artistic and sports development of Onești”, announced the representatives of the Onestin Youth Association.
