Israel dropped 153 tons of bombs on Gaza. The ceasefire is a fiction

“Israeli forces dropped 153 tons of bombs on targets in the Gaza Strip in response to what they described as a violation of the ceasefire by the Palestinian group Hamas,” Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told parliament on Monday, as quoted by Arab media.
“We hold a gun in one hand and extend the other in a gesture of peace” Netanyahu told Knesset members. “Peace is made with the strong, not with the weak. Today, Israel is stronger than ever before,” he said.

Asharq Al-Awsat indicates that Israel carried out a series of airstrikes on targets in the Gaza Strip on Sunday after two Israeli soldiers were killed in a Hamas attack. The Palestinian organization denied any knowledge of the attack.
Reuters indicates that on Monday, US envoys met with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to jointly seek an agreement between Israel and Hamas and put the ceasefire plan in the Gaza Strip back on track.
Sunday's Israeli bombing of Gaza killed at least 28 people.
Another day of shelling in the Gaza Strip
“On Monday, Palestinian medics reported that three more people were killed by Israeli tank fire near the yellow line separating the Israeli military from the main populated areas and the withdrawal from Gaza. The Israeli military reported that its forces fired on militants who crossed the line,” reports Reuters.

Gaza residents said they found the line confusing because, although electronic maps are available, physical markings have not yet been introduced on most sections.
