The owner of the geese was ordered to pay 92 thousand rubles for the injury of a teenager

In the Tyumen region, the owner of domestic geese was ordered to pay compensation to a teenager who was seriously injured after being attacked by birds. The total amount of payments was 92 thousand rubles.

The incident occurred in August 2024, when domestic geese attacked a minor who was riding a scooter. The birds were outside without the supervision of their owner. As a result of the attack, the teenager fell and suffered a severe knee injury that required surgery.

According to the portal Vslukh.ru, the prosecutor's office obtained in court a recovery from the owner of the geese for the costs of surgery and treatment in the amount of 42 thousand rubles, as well as compensation for moral damage in the amount of 50 thousand rubles.
