A criminal case was opened against former Minister of Trade of the Moscow Region Mikhail Khubutia for attacking his ex-wife with an ax.
According to Mash, the case was opened under the articles “Intentional infliction of moderate harm to health” (112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and “Threat of murder or infliction of grievous harm to health” (119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Khubutia himself denies guilt and is under recognizance not to leave the place.
