Earlier, on the evening of April 29, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the military “complete operational freedom” to choose the methods, goals and timing of its response to Pakistan’s actions.
The conflict between neighbors arose on April 22, when militants of the Kashmir Resistance shot Indian tourists in the states of Jammu and Kashmir. 30 people were killed, including Indian Air Force and Navy officers.
