The European Commission presented an ambitious plan for a European drone initiative on Thursday. The project, which is to be considered a priority, assumes the launch of a technologically advanced system in the first quarter of 2026. Operational capabilities are to be achieved by the end of next year, and full functionality of the system is planned for 2027.
