A “Christmas tree” scandal erupted in one of the districts of Ufa
The administration of the Demsky district of the city cut down a 30-year-old spruce tree from a local resident and installed it in the park near the Palace of Creativity.
Two huge spruce trees grew next to Natalya’s house on Lokomotiv Street for decades: the woman and her husband planted them in honor of the birth of their daughter. However, on the evening of December 4, the woman discovered that the 30-year-old Christmas tree had disappeared.
Having found out that the tree was cut down by order of the administration, Natalya filed a complaint there. However, the authorities said that a gas pipeline runs nearby and the tree cannot be located there due to safety precautions.
At the same time, a second tree grows nearby, less beautiful, and it does not interfere with the gas pipeline in any way.
