Krasnoyarsk man slept in someone else's house and robbed the owner

In Krasnoyarsk, a man is being tried for stealing property from a private house, into which he broke into to sleep.
As the police said, in July a local resident contacted them with a message that from her house on the street. Kachinskaya stole property worth more than 20 thousand rubles. According to her, she lives in another place, so when she came to check the house, she discovered that the lock on the front door was broken and that the washing machine, sewing machine, and car wheels were missing.
Investigators established that a previously unconvicted Krasnoyarsk resident born in 1988, who was detained, was involved in the theft. As he explained to the police, walking past the house in the evening, he saw that there was no one in it. Using improvised means, he broke the lock. Once inside, the accused decided to spend the night in the house and take out the property he liked in the morning. He sold the stolen goods for 2 thousand rubles, which he spent on personal needs.
A criminal case was opened against a resident of the regional center by the investigator of the investigative department No. 1 of the Krasnoyarsk Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. Having considered the case materials, the Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk sentenced the man to forced labor for a period of 1 year and 6 months with 10% withheld from wages to the state income. The verdict came into force.
