Radu Drăgușin (23 years old) is in full recovery process after suffering at the beginning of the year a cross ligament rupture to the knee. The defender recently participated in a workout with the players of the national team, in the cantonment for the matches with the Republic of Moldova (October 9) and Austria (October 12).
As until returning to the field, it is not much anymore, Tottenham's player spoke openly about the difficult time he went through after receiving the hard verdict from the doctors: the cross -ligament rupture.
“Who was with me? My family, first of all, with my fiancé. But, besides them, especially my businessman, Florin Manea, and his family. It is important to have people around you who believe in you, who know that, when I have support and people who love me and support me, I can give the best. Central defender Radu Drăgușin revealed, in an event he attended the last days, how his mother lived the moment of injury in the match with Elfsborg, in the Europa League:
“My mother was in London at that match … It was a shock to everyone, but especially for her and my fiancé. Then they came to the hospital and I can only imagine what they went through and what states they had.”

Even if the injury came unexpectedly, Drăgușin says he is trying to look at the full side of the glass: “Although this accident came very unexpected, I am grateful for everything I have, because I think that everything that happens in life happens for a reason. I am sure that this injury happened with a goal, and in the future everything will be fine, ”said Tottenham's defender.
“I don't have a time when I wanted to give up what makes me happy.”
Asked if there was a moment when he wanted to say “Stop”, Radu Drăgușin confessed: “I cannot say that I remember a moment when I wanted to give up what makes me happy. I think that when you do what makes you happy, what gives you a goal in life, there is no time to give up”.

Prayed to give advice to those who are thinking of giving up in difficult times, Radu Drăgușin said: “When you dedicate a lifetime to achieve a goal, to achieve a goal, you must be very honest with yourself and have a discussion with yourself. Do you really want to do this? Are you willing to do these sacrifices? Are you willing to give up a lot of things in your life?”.
The central defender added: “These are the questions I tell everyone to ask before choosing something in life. Because everyone wants to reach the big screens, the biggest stadiums, but very, very few are willing to make the effort and make these sacrifices.”
