Club management UTA believed that the team had escaped the prohibition on transfersafter paying the debt of 40,000 euros to Ravy Tsouka. However, the Aradians failed to pay the interest of 2,000 euros, so they still forbade transfers.
Thus UTA still could not legitimize Marko Stolnik (29 years old), who was in Arad in season 2023-2024, and on the lock Richard Odada (24 years old). The two recently reached the red-white band.
To be able to use Solnik and Odada, but also to escape the prohibition on transfers, UTA has to pay the interest of 2,000 euros from “Tsouka case”, according to digisport.ro.
UTA has not yet escaped the prohibition on transfers
UTA has been sued by over 10 footballers for wage arrears. The Aradians will not escape problems even after paying the interest of 2,000 euros.
“Textilists” will receive another prohibition, being opened over 10 files at FIFA. UTA would have to pay over 200,000 euros, the amount totaling the arrears to the former footballers.
Among the players who complained to UTA at FIFA would be Ghezali, Vulethh, Joao Pedro and Mabea. From the information of GSP, some of the footballers from Arad complained that they were not paid from January to May, while others communicated that they did not receive their money from October 2024 until the end of the last season.
The team coached by Adrian Mihalcea has serious financial problems and recently entered into preventive agreement, which represents the last step before entering the insolvency.
