A resident of Norilsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, through a court, will return almost 239 thousand rubles for an online course that was not disdained to her.
A year ago, a woman decided to undergo training on an educational platform, which allows not only to receive additional education, but also a professional retraining. To do this, she entered into an agreement with Edix LLC, and to pay for the cost of services, a loan worth almost 138 thousand rubles.
“According to the woman, after passing the introductory lesson, she concluded that this training is not suitable for her. After submitting it in electronic form, the application for the refusal of services and the termination of the contract access to the training rate was closed to her. She also received information that the refund would be made a little later in connection with the change of payment system. Realizing that the funds would not be returned to her, the woman went to court, ”said Rospotrebnadzor.
As a result, the court collected almost 239 thousand rubles with a woman from LLC Edix, of which: the cost of study – 136,370 rubles; Moral harm – 5,000 rubles; losses – 2,700 rubles; The percentage for the use of other people's funds is 15,049 rubles and a fine is 79,560 rubles.
