The US has endured part of the sanctions against Belarus. Donald Trump counts on this

As we reported on September 11, the US partly abolished sanctions against Belarus. It is a ban on flights imposed on Belavia Belarusian airlines, which entered into force in June 2022, after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which the regime of Alexander Lukashenko supported. At the same time, Minsk released 52 political prisoners.
The trusted man of Donald Trump, General Keith Kellogg, explained why the White House suspended sanctions against Belarusian airlines. The American in an interview with “The Guardian” emphasized that the US's interest in Aleksander Lukashenko results from the fact that “he often talks to Vladimir Putin.”
“What we did was establish a relationship to provide open communication channels, thanks to which we could be sure that our messages went to President Putin. This was the main reason. We were not going there with the intention of releasing political prisoners” – explained the American retired general in an interview with “The Guardian”.

US movement. This is how the leader of Belarus reacted
Aleksander Lukashenko's regime is looking at this matter completely differently. The dictator expressed this in an interview with the Belta Government Information Agency.
“The fact that the Americans began to endure sanctions against us is a reason for us to be gratitude, because it will make it easier for us to work. It is also very important. However, this is not, as I warned, the main direction of our actions” – said Lukashenko, quoted by Belta's agency.
