More than eight thousand trees will be planted in Moscow. Including on the trade union street, Volgogradsky Prospekt, Shchelkovo highway, as well as at schools, hospitals and in parks.
On Leninsky Prospekt, 16 flower beds have already been put, in which 480 fir trees, pines, thui and junipers grow. Another 400 plants appeared between the area of Gagarin and the Garden Ring. They take root well in the local climate and isolate Muscovites from road noise and relieve dust. Plus, they will make the capital more comfortable for living.
The first linden decorated the capital in 2016 on Tverskaya Street, then revived the center, embankments, squares and hospitals with schools. Since 2021, large highways decorated them. Then they plan to plant about eight thousand large trees in Moscow annually.
