Polar bears occupied the photo building: X
Vadim Makhorov, a travel blogger, used a drone to film the bears inside and outside the scattered buildings of the station, under the Arctic Sun at the end of summer, on the island of Koliuchin, in Ciukotsk, according to Agerpres.
A polar bear hit the drone when it approached it. Others removed their heads from buildings while filmed.
“I think they I see these houses as on a shelter against the wind, rain and other things. Generally do well there ”said Vadim Makhorov for Reuters.
Scientists left the research station, which is in an abandoned village, shortly after the Soviet Union's dismantling, more than three decades ago.
