The Polish East shield is a project announced by the Ministry of National Defense and the army in the spring of 2024, which aims to secure borders with Russia and Belarus. The project includes the construction of fortifications, warehouses of various types of equipment, as well as Reconnaissance and anti -done installations, which will be located along the border.

The third priority of the Ministry of National Defense is to create a program of universal military training, which Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced at the beginning of the year.
“Training in the fields of medical assistance, preparation for crisis situations, behavior during conflict and cyberbrones implemented with the participation of WOT and rescue services will increase not only the level of skills of citizens, but also their sense of security and social commitment. Supporting social immunity is one of the foundations of effective state defense” – we read in a government document.
As indicated, in 2025 the program is to cover, as part of the pilot, up to 5,000 people next year – up to 30,000 people. In 2027 and in the following years until 2039, the program is to cover up to 100,000. people.
